But we can't just blame the people. Its the food companies that are truly to blame. These companies have taken advantage of the system, they have corrupted the system. They had a golden opportunity presented to them, they could feed the world, and they did. And I commend them for that. But, when they realized that they could snare cattle ranchers, chicken farmers, and corn growers into a trap they couldn't escape from, and make a profit, they did just that. Money over everything.
Now the fast food companies, they have a stranglehold on the American diet. More money is spent on fast food every year in America than on anything else. And they know it. They advertise to children, how grow into regular purchasers. These regular purchasers pass on their habits to their children, creating the problem we have today. The only solution is to nip the habit in the bud. We need to teach the American children that healthy choices lead to healthier, more productive futures.
